Use Bean Bag Chairs

One of the things people look forward to during the holiday season is getting together with family and friends. And one great way to prepare for holiday gatherings is to incorporate special design features into your holiday décor that not only enhance festivities, but add comfort and help keep children entertained, as well.

For instance, while the grown ups prepare palatable fanfare, chat over coffee or punch, or watch their favorite sports team make another touchdown - children can amuse themselves in their own corner of the room. Creating a special area inviting to children will help keep everyone happy and entertained.

Consider the following for your seasonal and holiday décor; Place a large, low coffee table in a corner of the room away from adult activity, or in a nearby area. Arrange bean bag chairs and/or inflatable furniture as seating around the table, in the holiday colors of red and green. On the table, assemble an assortment of activity and coloring books, and special holiday game boards - such as checkers that use tree shaped pieces in red and green instead of the traditional red and black.

An all-in-one television and video player makes viewing convenient. Tip: A small television screen keeps children together as a group, in their own play area. Bean bag chairs are not only comfortable and a fun type of seating for children, but small children can take a nap in a toddler bean bag chair without the risk of falling and hurting themselves.

And best yet, bean bags are easy to relocate, or stack in a corner when not in use, too.
