Child Safety Lock
All of the bags on our website contain a safety lock/zipper. The purpose of this is to prevent small children from opening the bean bag chair. Follow the instructions below to open the bean bag chair for the purpose of adding more polystyrene beads. Please note there are two kinds of safety locks depending on the product. If the outer zipper does not have a tab to pull, see Figure A. For all other bean bag chairs, see Figure B.
FIGURE A.
1. Take a small paper-clip and slightly bend the prong outward. (diagram below)
2. Thread the paper clip through the hole on the zipper latch.
3. Pull the zipper open to reveal the second zipper.
4. Unzip the second zipper like an ordinary zipper.

FIGURE B.
The lock is a small metal clip that blocks the inner zipper from opening. In order to remove the child safety lock, you will need two sets of pliers.
1. Unzip the first zipper and locate the safety lock. (diagram below)
2. With a pair of pliers in each hand, clamp down on both sides of the metal lock piece.
3. Pull the prongs away from each other (open the C-shaped metal piece
enough to remove it). It may require strong force.
4. Remove the lock and unzip the second zipper.
To reapply the lock, completely zip up the 2nd zipper and place the lock back in its original holes. Using the pliers, squeeze lock back into its original position.
